We just happened to recently move our WDS server to server 2019, so we are stuck dead in the water as well.Īfter attempting to uninstall the updates unsuccessfully, I looked at the update catalog and saw that KB4503327 supposedly fixed the issue with pxe and the TFTP window size problem. I saw one person on this thread: explaining that this fix did NOT work for server 2019. Unfortunately, this was not the case for us. Now I have seen several posts talking about this from a month or so ago, and a fix - Unchecking "Enable Variable Window Extension" which apparently allowed the service to start and pxe boot to work again almost like magic. We used to be able to pxe boot, and now after our updates went through over the weekend, we lost the ability to pxe boot. As the title says, a recent Windows update killed our Windows Deployment Services server.
